Forest sustainability for future generations

Building a connection with our European Forests

About Allumuna

A smell so distinct it’s comforting and grounding, freshness in the air is approaching and rising, A sole primary colour so piercing it’s outstanding as the residents appear with arms reaching and winding. A ritual silence comforts anyone who is crying, The bounce in the ground pushing and pounding. The scattering of green cushions, so soft it’s mesmerising.

The experiences we face from the forest alone are so unique they cannot be replicated or cloned. Everything from the trees, fungi, animals and stone are truly the things we ought to know. So take a moment to pause and enjoy the show as I explain how to connect with the things that follow.

Founder of Allumuna - Marina Danckwardt

Hello and welcome to my website. I have a massive passion to protect our forests in Europe and have spent the last couple of years conducting my science research to understand how these precious ecosystem work. I also read a lot on the knowledge and wisdom of local natives, who hold a lot of ancient knowledge on our environment. I wanted a place where I can share this important information with the rest of the world. I think forestry is currently missing that feminine energy that is required to rebuild the ecosystem and teach the rest of the world how much our lives depend upon the trees, soil and fungi. I hope you find this website engaging and entertaining, as well as a place to learn more about the magic of our forests.
